"Smooth, simple, seaworthy, and safe" commonly describe our 23. A smooth ride from the round bilge hull; simplicity for a frustration free experience; seaworthy and safe to keep you calm in the rough stuff. Sport Fishing Magazine chose the 23 as one of its' 25 Great Boats of the Decade, she has a vast and sterling reputation.
Built in both Man O' War Cay and West Palm Beach, nearly 500 23's have been built since 1997. The original interiors were built using marine ply, a all composite inner liner began in 2004. The forward seating interior with a insulated fish box debuted in 2007, and is currently standard.
23's are cruising from the Bahamas to Seattle, Panama to Kuwait, the Caribbean and Mediterranean, and most everywhere in between. Wouldn’t you like to join them?
Hand laid construction from start to finish ensures quality. Her modified V-hull, combined with low center of gravity, offers passengers stability at rest and on the move. When the power is cut and lines are dropped, you’ll feel a light bobbing motion as opposed to the snap roll common with deep-v hulls. The full bow, along with 3-piece construction provides for a lot of space. Liberal use of vacuum technology creates a strong structure, and maximizes her interior volume.
Although she is nearly a 50 mph boat, 26-36 mph is her most economical range. Bringing her up on plane only takes 18 mph. When conditions are rough, holding plane at low speed is comfortable, and not possible on most outboard boats. At either speed, the fine entry is slicing through the steep stuff while the round bilges aft yield to the impact of the water. She tracks well too. Don’t try and steer her too much, just let her dance her way through the sea naturally.
